This course will explore the nature of spirituality in the Christian tradition.
It will introduce and critically engage with some texts from the Christian tradition, examine a variety of approaches to Christian spirituality, identify and critically reflect on how spirituality may be shaped by such variables as personality, tradition and context, and examine the historical context for the development of different Christian spiritual writers
