This course is of interest to all those who want to get to grips with Christian thought on key beliefs. It introduces and reflects on these with a view to informing and refreshing mission and ministry. An eye is kept on what Christian teachings and their various controversies mean for today. The learning process draws on a wealth of biblical ideas and the long story of churches with their life and struggles up to now. Key thorny issues repeatedly crop up of course, but tackling these equips participants with skills to guide their thinking and judgement long after the course finishes.
